Toddler Patio Set

Description: Purchased the Latt set from Ikea, then went to Joan Fabrics and purchased the weather proof foam 1" thick (Soft and Crafty) for $8.99 bought 2, purchased Outdoor fabric (about 2ft), and outdoor spray paint.

I spray painted the table and chairs

I glued the foam to the center part of the chair leaving 1/2" all around to allow to slide back in and then upholstered it with the outdoor fabric. Then I slid it into place.

Super Indestructable Kids Table

Materials: LATT Children's Table and Chairs

Description: We have the slightly older version of these, the slatted ones. I LOVED the little table and chairs, but really hated how dirty it got and how hard it was to clean. So my husband talked to a friend, and this was the AMAZING result.

Step 1. Assemble the table and chairs.
Step 2. Sand down any rough/uneven spots (If the table or chairs has been used then clean thoroughly!!)

Step 3. Talk to auto body places to get the best quote on bed-liner/rhino-liner.
Step 4. Have them spray the liner color of your choice and let it cure.
(Option: You can also buy the kits to do this yourself for between $15 -35, we just happened to have a friend with a shop that does this.)
Step 5. Enjoy your completely water, food, marker, crayon, glue, and generalized gunk proof table and chairs!

My 6 year old totally loves these and they are pretty much indestructible. ENJOY! :)

Granite LATT table

Materials: Granite slab, LATT table and chairs, stain

Description: White and wood. Boring.

Over a weekend my husband surprised me by redoing our kids table and chairs. The white part of the table had been used to eat on, play on, and climb on. It was filthy and wouldn't wash off.

He took it apart and had to carve out the spot where the inserts were to make it wider for the granite. This piece of granite was a scrap leftover we found and was 1/4" thick.

Colorful LATT makeover

Materials:
1 LATT children's table and chair set, 1 roll gift wrapping paper, scotch tape, 1 roll clear adhesive contact (shelf liner) paper, 2 cans spray paint

Description:
1) My husband spray painted all pieces of the table and chair frames with red spray paint (he did the first layer with a combined primer/paint and went over it with the paint of the same color). Let dry overnight.

2) I wrapped the table top and seats with wrapping paper (coming around each edge and securing with scotch tape).

3) I covered the wrapped table top and seats with clear contact paper.

4) We assembled the table and chairs per the directions that came with the set.

I love the way the colors make it look more fun and child-friendly and the contact paper keeps it easily cleanable.

Also pictured: We hung a BYGEL rail (21 3/4" length) with 3 white BYGEL containers on the wall next to the table for crayons, pencils, etc.

LATT Chalkboard Play Table

Materials:
LATT Table and chair set

Description: The LATT table set is a perfect height for my 2 year old plus at a great price ($25 in Canada), I couldn't beat it.

I decided to convert it into a little chalkboard table! Here's how I did it:

Note: before assembly of product:

1. I spray painted each wooden piece with an Aqua blue colour (satin finish). I let it dry a few hours.

2. I took the white table base and paint it using Chalkboard paint. I followed directions on can and used two coats. I let it dry overnight.

3. I assembled the LATT set as per Ikea directions.

4. I made little pillows for the chairs using a foam base.

My daughter loves it! Thanks for looking!
