Bjur�n Herb Garden

Materials: 5 Bjur�n plant pots, 2 wooden boards, screws, 4 eyelets for hanging pictures, hooks, nails, teak wood glaze

Description: Looking for a beautiful wooden herb garden which fits our balcony I came across the Bjur�n plant pots at Ikea and the idea was born.

I screwed the Bjur�n plant pots with four screws each to the board, nailed eyelets for hanging pictures on the back, protected the herb garden with teak wood glaze and fixed it with hooks on the wall.

Now, the herbs just need to grow.

Plant pot coffee table

Materials:
4 plant pots "BJUR�N", 4 legs of an older IKEA-couchtable (with screws etc.) and minimum 8 screws and nuts and driller for wood

Description:
I bought this plant pots (20x20x17cm), because I liked them, but I had no idea, what to use it for. After a few months I had it: I needed a little, easily moveable table for my laptop, with some practical storage for some computer-stuff. The hole in the middle could be used for a power cable, when you use it as a side table with a lamp - I use the hole for a little more ventilation for my laptop.

You have to drill some holes in the sides of the wooden boxes (minimum 2 in each side) and connect it with screws and nuts. The openings of the boxes should be on the side for storage. Try to work very exactly, because you want the table level and hopefully not jiggling.

Then drill the little holes for the legs-fixtures. Assemble all and screw
the legs on their places. Ready.

Easy to do and a pleasure to use the table.

(PS: IDEA in this moment: you could as well fix one box (or two or all boxes) with the opening to the top and use it for a flower or plant. But in this case you have to consider the measures/construction - the boxes are NOT cubes.)

BJURON plant pot into wall display

Materials: BJURON plant pots in 2 sizes

Description: I bought 5 BJURON planters, 3 rectangles and 2 square ones. I painted the insides white so that my ornaments would stand out better and painted the outside with the same blue I used on the walls. I then drilled two holes in the top corners of each box and screwed them onto the wall. just the right size for displaying my doctor who models. :)

jenni's west elm inspired box shelves

so, you've always wanted a box shelf like those sold at west elm but didn't want to fork out the moolah. jenni's hack might just do the trick for you then.

"a few years ago ikea sold these wooden planters. the planter came in plain wood with a silver square tray beneath to hold in water. dimensions of the box were 6"l x 5"d x 5"h. i took the planters, primed them, put wall stucco on them for texture, and added L brackets to the wall. slot the hollow of the boxes onto the brackets and voila! instant box shelves. i think the ikea planters retailed for about $2.00 or less. the ones at west elm are 3 for $44.00. easy hack. now if they still sold those wooden planters."

the wooden planter jenni used is no longer in production but i think the bjuron will work as well, since you don't need the silver tray anyways. the dimensions are about the same too.
