From bed to bath and beyond

Materials: Edland bedside table

Description: We wanted to create a rough luxe bathroom, so needed some fittings that would look polished against our newly concreted walls. Actual bathroom cabinets were too small or too boxy, and almost always in brown or white. So when we saw the Edland bedside table it was a no-brainer to pair it with a simple square basin and single tap.

To make it happen, my handy husband drilled out two holes in the top of the Edland - one to accept the waste and one to thread the tap pipes through. He then used a jigsaw to cut out a section of the panel between the drawers and cupboard (as seen in the pic), so that the waste to could run down below the sink.

Result: favourite bathroom ever!
